The success of the young Rock Tycoon Mr. Thomas Philip is a transparent story of commitment, passion and untiring efforts with an ultimate aim to success. His dominance in the quarry and mining industry clearly shows his strong desire, determination, will power and perseverance. Born in an ordinary Cherupulichiyil family as the son of an agriculturist Mr. Abraham Philip and Mariama in a remote village called Cherukulanji in Ranni of Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, 42 year old Thomas had a thirst for knowledge, clear version, a constant vision, proper planning aiming to reach the peak of success and leadership which was noticed right from his teenage childhood.
A God fearing straight forward person, Mr. Thomas Philip was deadly against bribery, corruption who exhibited a personality of extreme integrity. He
always aimed at the sky and was a true workaholic. He always underlined that the way to success and survival in a competitive environment is practical action. A tough employer with a loving heart, expects his employees to be always active, competent and never tolerates lies or deception irrespective of status. Within a span of a couple of decades of his entry to business, he tamed himself and groomed as an undisputed leader of the quarry and granite industry. A professional businessman, popularly known as Delta Thomas, has been able to establish his own name, fame and reputation branding Delta Group in its phenomenal growth and has planted seeds in the nooks and corners of Kerala.

In recognition of his service to the ailing poor and adding an additional feather to the golden crown of Delta Thomas, he has been privileged with many honors and accolades. The prominent among them was The Environment Award- 2013 for the Best Performing Industry from the “ Paristhithi Samrakshana Samithi ” for the realization of mining activities in a environment friendly manner from the Environment Activist Smt. Padmasri Sugatha Kumari. In continuation he is proud to receive the Pravasi Malayalee Welfare association award for charity in 2015, Young Businessman award from Kerala Chief Minister in 2015, G Karthikeyan foundation award for Business excellence in 2016 and Mangalam Young Entrepreneur Excellence award in the year 2017.

A lover of nature, Mr. Thomas has a passion for gardening and personally involved in plantations who compare plants to kids who take utmost care for its growth for preserving and conserving the environment. His Altruism and industrious attitudes are considered to be the secret of his success too. For him, the social responsibility was an extension of his philosophy to create value for society. In line with this, he has undertaken several initiatives that supports and develops the talent of students and youth. He take initiative for providing the basic needs of humans, like house, clothing and food including free drinking water in his neighbourhood. He delivers Study Kits to students, Financial assistance for marriage of girls of financially backward class, providing regular monthly pension for 360 privileged individuals above 60 years, Monetary help for procuring medicines, Financial help for people suffering from fatal diseases, providing houses for financially meager background. His social commitment, responsibility and helping mentality created a God father image to his personality. He continues his journey saying that success is a journey not a destination.
